Great selection and portion are on generous !! Had the oxtail meal with rice and beans and callaloo veggies on the side. First time I had those veggies that resemble collard greens, really loved the callaloo!! My co-worker has the jerk chicken which smelled divine and he said it was awesome! Oh yea, we also had fried dumplings ...

I stopped here after a job I had in Norwalk. I don’t typically work in Connecticut, but anytime I see a Caribbean restaurant I just have to stop and try their food. It’s not the kind of food you can eat while driving, and I had a long drive home so I grabbed it to go. It took another couple hours to get home, but when I sat down and finally started chomping on that food... BABYYYYY. 10 10 10’s across the board Also the people are so sweet and kind, I honestly wish I could go more often! But I’ll tell you this. I’ll never forget this place and will make sure to stop by WHENEVER I’m passing

More than just the delicious food, the people who work here are caring, kind, and proud of what they make. And proud they should be! I visited twice in two days because the first jerk chicken plate I had was so perfect, I needed to return the following day to try their jerk pork next. Both meat dishes came with a generous amount of rice (the jollof was incredible), a cabbage dish, and some fried plantains. The prices are great for the quality and amount of food you get when you visit here!

This is authentic Jamaican food. I haven’t tasted Jerk chicken this good since I actually had it in Jamaica. We got there just in time, the chicken was coming right off the grill and it was mega. Cooked to perfection and the jerk sauce is superb. Great value, and great staff. Dining in, is more like dining out, but who cares....i will be back.

A delightful little gem right off of exit 14 in Norwalk. It is cozy but has some outdoor seating where you can regularly find smokers firing away. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help out, overall giving the humble building a welcoming atmosphere. The food itself is very tasty and fresh. I tried the Jamaican patties, and they really hit the spot. The pastry was crisp and flaky. The filling was flavorful but not too spicy. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy Jamaican food!

Well One could easily drive buy this little gem but if you are looking for delicious, authentic Jamaican food then hit the brakes and stop Mon. Friendly staff, meats smoking on the smoker. There was no menu available, they just told me what they had. Whatever, Mon it’s not the Ritz. That’s ok. I had jerk chicken, rice and beans and delicious plantains which I ate outside under their tent. They offer a lot of different Jamaican smoked meats. I’ll go back and try someday! The next best thing to being in Jamaica!

Mouthwatering smells float in the air and the taste of their jerk pork and chicken - oooh - it does not disappoint. Servings are generous and the staff beyond delightful. It’s a roadside shack with 2 large grills delivering big, bold taste. Yum!
